Ryan worked with me on selling my 1971 BMW 2800CS on Bring A Trailer recently. He did the photoshoot, selecting and editing photos, assisted with the listing, editing and creating text, navigating the BaT site and provided helpful suggestions throughout the process. Ryan proved to be enthusiastic, creative, responsive, and a talented photographer. The car sold well and I would use his services again.

I had been waiting to replace my 20+ year old Toyota Camry with a new all electric SUV AWD, but had range anxiety as well as concerns about how best to assess reliability and quality construction. I had never thought I would have use for a car concierge, but am so pleased that I discovered Ryan and Autoficianado in April 2024. He listened to my concerns and developed a spreadsheet of various electric SUV models for me to test drive/assess. I was really impressed with the BMW iX EV, but wasn’t ready to spend $100K on a new car.
Ryan discussed with me how to evaluate a used vehicle, and then generated an impressive list of late model used BMWs with an evaluation of each, including pricing and potential shipping options. I was pleasantly surprised that he found a 2024 model with only 3K miles which turned out to be the perfect car at a far more reasonable price. I greatly appreciated his wise council outlining the many options which I had initially found overwhelming. I highly recommend Ryan and Autoficianado!

I had a 1983 Datsun that had been sitting in a garage (not started or running) since 1998. I also had another similar wrecked car sitting behind a building on my property. I asked Ryan for help, because I had no idea how to proceed. I was moving and I needed to move these vehicles somewhere. Once Ryan had the VIN number and was able to examine the car, he did research and was able to give me a good idea regarding the worth of the car. His services included initial assessment, photography, and market research for valuation with close matching examples. He then helped me find a mechanical shop that specialized in working on Datsuns. Ryan coordinated and talked with that shop throughout the entire process of rehabbing the car. He also contacted an excellent towing service that specializes in moving old cars. That towing service delivered my car safely to the mechanic shop. The mechanic shop was terrific and having Ryan as a point of contact to relay recommended work for me to approve made the process much easier. Ryan also researched source of good parts for the vintage model when needed, and found someone to rebuild a Turbo from the car to be installed which was perfect! Ryan was great to work with and made the process run smoothly throughout.

I love Mazdas and have almost always bought them as my car of choice. But that doesn't mean I'm a Mazda expert. For the last two decades, I have consistently relied on Ryan's expertise to find out things like: What models are the best or the ones to avoid, given my particular needs? Should I buy from a dealer or a private seller? What issues have come up with various models (service and maintenance-wise) since the last time I went shopping? Should I get the upgrade package/certain accessories or not? What's a reasonable price for the car I'm selling? I could name fifty different issues that Ryan always provides accurate and trustworthy advice about. I just won't buy a car anymore without having Ryan's guidance. It's worth every dollar--and I have found that the money I spend on Ryan's consultation actually saves me money down the road on repairs, possible bad purchases, and having increased resale value when it's time to move on to a new car.
